The Tension

In a beauty space filled with quick fixes, UNSKINxD chose a different path.

The brand does not lead with noise.

Most skincare content focuses on the surface. It shows products, routines, and results. But for UNSKINxD, the work goes deeper than that.


The brand exists to help people feel informed, cared for, and seen in their own skin.

When we created this brand film, our goal was to help that truth come through clearly.


This was not about making skincare look trendy.

It was about helping the audience feel the care behind the brand.


The Client Vision

UNSKINxD is a skincare brand created for melanin rich skin. The brand offers skincare products, consultations, services, and education for people who want a clearer path to healthy skin.


The brand is led by Dominique Cross, a registered nurse and dermatology professional. In her VoyageLA feature, Dominique shared how UNSKINxD grew from both personal frustration and professional insight. She saw how often Black skin was treated as an afterthought in healthcare, wellness, and beauty spaces.

That mission shaped the creative direction.


UNSKINxD did not need a generic beauty video.

It needed a brand film that reflected its standard of care.

A film that could show the difference between selling skincare and serving people through skincare.
